Espai Barca will transform the FC Barcelona facilities and unite sports and architecture to develop a space to be shared by members and visitors 365 days of the year. As an extension of the FC Barcelona team, our sales experts will work diligently with FCB management and staff to create custom solutions and programs that drive record breaking revenue for the reopening of the Spotify Camp Nou. THE ROLEThe VIP Sales Manager will be responsible for training, developing and managing a VIP hospitality sales team focused on revenue generation for the transformation of Spotify Camp Nou. This role will serve as the day-to-day lead for premium sales strategy, execution, and leadership. Together with their sales team, Legends management team, and key stakeholders, this position will execute complex sales campaigns, attend sales center appointments, host special events, close VIP seating deals, run dynamic training sessions, and create a best-in-class culture centered around results and personal & professional improvement.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reporting to the Director of Sales, the VIP Sales Manager’s responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:Lead the training and day-to-day management of a best-in-class premium sales team responsible for selling multi-year contractual agreements for palcos, loge, and VIP seats in the new Stadium. Develop, lead, and inspire a culture of results, personal & professional growth, and collaboration.Lead the planning and implementation of all outbound sales efforts, including lead scoring & assignment, product launches, campaign design & management, and sales center events for all premium leased products.Design and direct the B2B prospecting strategies to cultivate new sales leads, execute outbound premium campaigns, and surpass revenue targets.Sell multi-year palco, loge, and seating agreements to current VIP clients, C-Level executives and/or key decision makers of corporations, and high net worth individuals via outbound sales calls, face-to-face appointments, and presentations.Collaborate with key club stakeholders and Legends management team to plan and implement sales and premium brand driven marketing campaigns.Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations and special events for current and prospective clients.Develop and coach the sales team to consistent success while holding the team accountable to their daily and weekly appointment and revenue goals. Lead an efficient and effective contracting and invoicing process for all premium products.Collaborate with the CRM team to maintain accurate customer and prospective customer records in our database and distribute leads in an efficient and strategic manner. Provide consistent reporting information by maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and overall updates of sales pacing, outbound metrics, touchpoint campaigns, and event recaps.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor’s Degree required - Business, Marketing or similar degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.Minimum of 5+ years in sales experience, preferably in premium seating in the sports & entertainment industryMinimum of 2+ years of sales team leadership, hiring, training, development, etc. with demonstrated success.History of top premium/B2B revenue production for a sports and/or entertainment organizationExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, with ability to effectively pitch and present premium products.Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the market.Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and have a team-first mentality.Must be able to work evenings, weekends, events and holidays as required.Language skills: Spanish and English are required, Catalan strongly preferred. COMPENSATION Competitive salary, bonus plan, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package in line with the country of employment.
