Job Summary.
The Data Visualization & Product Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of data visualization strategies to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This role involves managing a team of data visualization specialists, collaborating with various departments to understand their data needs, and creating compelling visualizations that communicate complex data insights effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, visualization tools, and team leadership.
Based at our Bengaluru India corporate office, you will report directly to the Data & Insights Leader for ISC ​   Key Responsibilities.
Develop and implement a comprehensive data visualization strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
Identify key metrics and KPIs to be visualized for different departments and stakeholders.
Ensure consistency and best practices in data visualization across the organization.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data visualization Analysts & specialists.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, data architects and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable visualizations.
Present data visualizations and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
Oversee the selection and implementation of data visualization tools (e.
., Tableau, Power BI, D3.
s).
Ensure the team is proficient in using these tools and stays updated on new features and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies as needed.
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Create interactive dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations and reports.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data visualization efforts.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data visualization activities.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data visualization.
Qualifications.
Education.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data visualization, data analytics, or a related field.
Key Competencies.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar.
Experience in Enterprise Cloud data platforms (e.
., GCP, AWS) Experience in Enterprise Datawarehouse (e.
., BigQuery, OBI) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
