Are you a Windows Cloud Engineer seeking a new interesting challenge? 🔍If your answer is yes, it’s your lucky day so keep reading, it can be just what you're looking for! 👀✍️WHAT WILL YOU DO?We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:Analyze and define specifications for Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2019, 2022) and their compatibility with various hardware platforms (e.g., Hewlett Packard and IBM).Evaluate, configure, and optimize cloud platforms such as Nutanix, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud for integration with physical and virtualized hardware infrastructures.Perform compatibility testing between Windows versions and underlying hardware components like RAID controllers, network interfaces, and storage solutions and other costumer components.Ensure seamless integration between cloud software (e.g., Nutanix, Acropolis, others.) and physical hardware systems to support optimal performance.Create and maintain documentation of software and hardware interoperability, including configuration baselines and performance benchmarks.Develop and manage processes for upgrading or patching Windows operating systems and cloud software while maintaining hardware compatibility.Collaborate with hardware vendors to troubleshoot and resolve performance or compatibility issues.Provide recommendations on hardware requirements for specific software deployments in both on-premises and cloud environments.Monitor emerging technologies in the Windows and Cloud domains to ensure alignment with current and future hardware standards.Conduct system audits to ensure adherence to best practices for hardware-software integration and operational efficiency.Support the deployment and testing of firmware and driver updates for hardware components to ensure compatibility with Windows and cloud software.Assist in developing automation scripts for hardware-software testing and configuration (e.g., PowerShell, Python).🧐 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Deep understanding of Windows operating systems and their interactions with hardware components.Proficiency in cloud platforms like Nutanix, VMware with a focus on their hardware integration capabilities.Strong knowledge of enterprise hardware (e.g., servers, storage, networking equipment) and associated technologies.Familiarity with virtualization platforms and hypervisors (e.g., Hyper-V such as Acropolis).Experience in analyzing system logs and performance metrics for hardware-software interactions.Solid scripting skills for automation and system configuration (e.g., PowerShell, Python).Fluent English📅 WHERE AND WHEN?Workplace: Madrid, Hybrid Work Schedule: 16x5 + oncall🤝 WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU?Permanent contract 📋 - We offer indefinite contracts from the first day.Pay and benefits 💸 - Competitive salary and a flexible compensation plan adapted to your needs (Ticket restaurant plan, Childcare Ticket, Transport Ticket and Health Insurance).Work from home 🏚️ - We offer you a financial support every month for your working from home expenses.
