ACCOUNTING AND TREASURY MANAGER

Position summary:The selected candidate will be a member of Recurrent Energy Construction Finance team reporting to the regional Financial Controller. This role will be responsible for the accounting in our EPC entity and relationship management, preparing and coordinating financial audits, preparing monthly closing reporting and review the accounting entries and taking care of all accounting related duties.Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Areas:• Lead month-end closing process and ensure quality control over financial reporting of Recurrent Energy Construction SA.• Annual statutory financial statement preparation under local GAAP.• Ensure financial reporting compliance with Group's policies and reporting standards (US GAAP, local GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards – IFRS).• Coordination and communication on a regular basis with team members of other departments.•Ad hoc analysis (transaction and acquisition, finance due diligence, financial model reviews, etc.)• SAP implementation process• Assist with questions from Tax, Project Finance and the business.Financial & Organizational Scope:• Finance and accounting• Direct financial impactReporting Relationships & Interactions• Reports to Regional Financial Controller• Works with various teams in the organization including AP, Accounting, FP&A, Project Finance, Legal, etc.• Significant interaction with outside vested parties (advisors, bank officers, auditors, etc.)Requirements:A) Knowledge & Skills•Team-leading experience.•Construction sector knowledge•US GAAP, UK GAAP and Italian GAAP working knowledge required.•Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet.•Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience is a must and HFM and Atractor experience is a plus)B) Abilities•Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.•Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.•Comfortable working in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment; this is a transaction-based environment where requirements and deadlines are dictated by deal flow.C) Experience & Education•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline•Minimum of 5 year of relevant work experience•Knowledge of construction and renewable energy and project assets.Other CommentsBased in SevilleFluent in English and Spanish (Italian is a plus).
