Your responsibilities include administering, consulting, and negotiating product and service contracts with external customers, while developing pre-sales contract strategies in collaboration with marketing, sales, and technical teams to create structured proposals and bid documents.
You will negotiate contracts aligned with business objectives, manages amendments for scope changes, and ensures all contractual obligations are met, without the need for legal qualifications.
Additionally, you will drives the spares bid team across SWE, focusing on the improvement and development of automated quoting tools, adherence to standardized KPIs, and fostering team motivation.
How You’ll Make an Impact ● Take ownership of the bid process for spare opportunities, ensuring coordination for technically accurate and financially compliant proposals.
● Lead the proposal process using Sales Force, collaborating with finance, project execution, and supply chain to enforce to Siemens Energy’s compliance and safety procedures.
● Coordinate with engineering and factory teams to address configuration, scope, and technical changes during quoting.
● Plan and assess sales proposals for feasibility, while servicing customers post-sale to enhance satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
● Lead bid clarification and negotiations with customers alongside the Client Manager, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
● Regularly conduct lessons learned activities, customer visits, and develop strategies for the Spanish fleet in the market, integrating them with regional strategies.
What You Bring ● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with a proven minimum of three years of experience in services for rotative equipment on cross-organizational projects.
● Proficient in working with compressors, gas turbines, and associated equipment within the industrial and power generation markets.
● Strong team player with effective communication skills across various levels of customers, peers, and team members.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured and accurate work approach.
● Willingness to travel occasionally and possess high proficiency in written and spoken English.
● Self-motivated learner with a growth mindset, capable of collaborating effectively in diverse teams and fostering a positive team environment.
About the Team You will belong to the Sales team dealing with the compressors and Gas Turbines fleet from Siemens Energy who will support you and coach you on the specifics of the job.
