CLOUD SENIOR MANAGER

Role purpose Provides inspired leadership for the organization to reach a strong technical team mindset that drives the industry.
Collaborates with engineering, architecture, product, sales, vendors / service providers and various infrastructure and operations groups to create and support an operational environment for new and existing services supported by Cloud Infrastructure.
Ensures strong working relationships with other areas of the business contributing to the delivery of service to customers, notably DevOps, product management, development and support Ensure support for culture of continuous improvement, including identifying areas for potential improved automation and feeding back to relevant teams Ensure the overall delivery of a quality operational service to customers Your place in the team Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of managing Cloud Services including software deployment and upgrades, system setup, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, service desk, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery and routine update of services.
Ensures timely liaison with vendors regarding problems, fixes, and required enhancements.
Creates and maintains strategies related to Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Services throughout the enterprise ensuring all performance and cost curves are closely managed.
Drives the adoption, and articulate the risks/opportunities from leveraging Cloud Infrastructure.
Oversees and directs the timely evaluation, qualification, and implementation of new software products, tools, and related appliances as it pertains to the Cloud environment.
Reviews and ensures execution of plans for disaster recovery and business continuity as required (including periodic testing) What we are looking for Experienced people manager (10+ years) who instills accountability; encourages, empowers, motivates, trains, and mentors team members to maximize their abilities.
Azure knowledge and certifications are a big benefit Excellent skills in maintaining, collaborating, and supporting relationships at all levels across the organization Passionate about technology, solution-focused, data-driven, and enjoys helping people Passionate about having fun to create a positive environment Critical Thinker, idea generator, and problem solver, able to spot roadblocks and get past them quickly and efficiently Experience grasping complex issues and communicating them simply and clearly Successful track record implementing and managing information technology and data related projects Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom Ability to architect and develop technical solutions, especially those leveraging new technologies Experience with identifying and implementing industry best practices for technology projects In-depth knowledge with 10+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies.
In-depth knowledge of and ability to apply industry best practices for cloud and on-premises networking, systems administration.
Experience with Cloud, IT, and DevOps best practices.
