DESIGN MANAGER BESS (REMOTE POSITION)

Job info:Role: BESS Design Manager (EPC company).Location: Spain.If you are an individual with a strategic perspective, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, leadership skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to handle pressure, we are looking for you.Client info:At WeHunt, we are collaborating with a Full EPC company with a strong international presence, specialized in the energy and renewable sector.The successful applicant (M/F/D):Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering.3-7 years combined of technical/engineering and management experience in the energy storage industry.Knowledge of contracting EPC’s regarding energy storage projects.Geographical mobility.Fluent in English.Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Conceptually design utility-scale energy storage systems and renewable assets.Collaborate closely with various departments including Development, Origination, Procurement, Finance, Energy Assessment, Investment Transactions Engineering, Engineering and Construction to conduct technical planning and due diligence evaluations.Lead the transfer of projects to the Construction Team, ensuring full understanding of frontiers and interfaces between Engineering firms, OEMs, Construction, and Integrator companies, to optimize the construction, start times, guaranteeing the coordination and technical quality in the transfer of the project.Coordinate the evaluation and resolution of the proposed modifications of the final construction project raised in the construction phase.Ensure the application of the common standards in the projects, supervising its adaptation to applicable local regulation.Understand, interpret, and relay customer requirements into BESS technical solution designs.Review and submit technical tender response bundles within deadlines.Understand and keep up with storage market technical and engineering requirements and trends.Support the team along the initiatives for the development of creative and innovative engineering processes.What we offer:Being part of a company with a strong presence in the international market.Long-term professional project.
