This is where you come into play! Your role within our Kingdom This team is responsible for the heart of the Game backends, a fine tuned and high performance Java based platform that makes it easy to build and run game backends at scale.

As our sparkling new Engineering Manager, you will inspire and empower the talents in your team, enable them to excel in building great software, whilst supporting individual career growth through personal goal setting and continuous feedback.
You will support the team with recruitment, mentoring, coaching, facilitation and performance management and more.
Inspire, engage and guide the team through challenges that require extensive collaboration, exceptional engineering and most importantly a fun, open and relaxed working environment.
You will be accountable for the team commitments to deliveries and ensure the team has good ways of working and prerequisites for top performance.
You will facilitate and enable discussions and decisions of both technical and non-technical nature.
You will also be coordinating projects and engaging with stakeholders in collaboration with the product manager.
Skills to create thrills We think your saga started with a passion for problem-solving and tech, leading towards developing exciting software that gives you a sound understanding of the craft and the challenges developers face daily.
You also have a deep engagement for humans and team dynamics and are committed in supporting people to grow and collaborate in high performing teams.
You have a few years experience leading teams and understanding of product centric methods and Agile practices.
You have the ability to build relationships across the organization and manage critical communication and coordinate projects on behalf of the team.
You have a humble and open approach to leadership, with a strong belief in empowerment, trust and collaboration.
