FUND ACCOUNTANT MANAGER

Fund Accountant, Manager - Private Equity Location - Spain An exciting opportunity for a Fund Accounting Supervisor/AVP/Manager to relocate to Spain. Our client, a fund administration company specialising in accounting and administration services for hedge funds, private equity funds and other investment funds, is looking for an experienced and ambitious professional to fill a Manager position.Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of client relationships.Provide technical accounting and industry knowledge to clients.Review and approve NAV prepared by fund accountants.Review and monitor capital activity, including capital calls and distributions, as well as the general ledger, cash activity and cash reconciliations.Review the calculation of the distribution waterfall and financial statements.Manage year-end audits and tax reporting with clients and independent auditors.Effectively manage staff time and workload to meet deadlines.Identify and implement process improvements.Mentor, develop, and train junior staff, including conducting performance reviews.About you: Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related field (preferred) ACCA qualified preferable but not essential Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Fund Administration role, 1-2 years working in Private Equity, and at least 1-2 at Supervisory level.Experience in working on a Private Equity accounting system.Excellent communication and writing skills in the English languageCandidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
