HEAD OF FINANCE RISK MANAGEMENT

The FRM will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing market, credit and financial risks associated with our trading activities and overall financial position.
This role requires a deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, financial risk management principles, and a hands-on approach to implementing risk control measures in a dynamic start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities.
Risk Assessment.
Conduct regular market and financial risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Risk Identification.
Conduct regular trading risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in trading processes and strategies.
Risk Mitigation.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified market and financial and trading risks.
Risk Modelling.
Develop and maintain quantitative risk models to measure and monitor market and financial risks.
Counterparty Risk.
Assess and manage counterparty risks associated with trading activities.
Liquidity Risk.
Monitor and manage liquidity risk, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs and customer withdrawals.
Trading Risk.
Develop and maintain a trading risk management framework aligned with the company's overall risk strategy.
Market Risk.
Monitor and manage market risk exposure, including position limits, volatility, and liquidity risks.
Market Analysis.
Perform in-depth market analysis to identify trends and potential risks in the cryptocurrency markets.
Stress Testing.
Conduct stress tests and scenario analyses to assess the impact of extreme market conditions on the company's financial position.
Risk Reporting.
Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to the CRO and other stakeholders.
Trading Controls.
Implement and maintain robust trading controls and risk limits.
