About the Role: An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Manager position to join our Housekeeping Department in Jumeirah Mallorca. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: - Plan, organize and supervise all Housekeeping activities. - Ensure team is trained, motivated and focused. - Set the standards of cleanliness and maintenance of all operations. - Maintain the Hotel policies and procedures as agreed by the Management in accordance with The Hotel’s business plan. - Liaise with Front Office on forecasting VIP arrivals and ensure the smooth flow of communication between the Departments. - To conduct periodic inspections throughout the hotel to assess the cleaning standards. - Preparing departmental and assisting in preparation of divisional budgets, ensuring that the departmental operational budget is adhered to business plan. Requisitos : About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Qualification & Experience: - Minimum of 2 years work experience in Housekeeping in an International Hotel Company. - Minimum of 1 year’s management experience in a high volume of housekeeping role. - Experience in managing outsourced labour and casual staff requirements. - Previous Housekeeping & Laundry experience as well guest/employee relations training. - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, use and requirements or equipment. - Knowledge of proper chemical handling. - Ability to communicate satisfactorily in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Skills - Excellent level of English and Spanish. - Excellent organizational and team management skills. - Excellent computer skills and knowledge of OPERA and other hotels system would be an advantage. - Interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict. - Ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information and convey the same sense of confidentiality to all employees.
