Made Possible.Summary The Project Manager Leader position will report to the VP of IT International but will be partnering with business units, technical units within Graphic Packaging International and external partners, to coordinate projects and to ensure that prioritization and execution plans are in place for all critical areas, as well as to ensure knowledge and expertise on relevant technologies are in place. The Project Manager will lead all the high priority initiatives. You will support the team to keep their timelines on track, monitor the evolution of the project through milestones and produce all levels of reporting to relevant stakeholders. Project management will be in all IT areas, Applications, Infrastructure and Cyber Security. This role will be the head of the PMO in International and initially have external PMOs reporting to this role. The intention is to grow this organization with new hires. Required Skills:Project management experience in a global, multi-cultural and multi-site environmentDemonstrated ability in driving large-scale projects running over multiple years across operations and IT in a global institution with multiple stakeholder groups at various levels within the organizationExtensive delivery and implementation experienceProject Management Certification or equivalent demonstrated experienceDemonstrated experience and expertise in MS ProjectExperience in Agile methodology preferredDomain knowledge in manufacturing preferredOrganizational change management experienceExperience with technology as well as non-technology projectsAssertive leadership and exceptional communication, coaching & mentoring skillsSignificant senior stakeholder management, budget control, project reporting and escalationDrive adoption by stakeholders and user populations, and delivering anticipated benefitsPeople managementAbility to travel Key objectives of this roleDaily project management activities throughout the project life cycle.Define and manage the project governance (controls)Plan the overall project and monitor the progressManage the project scheduleManage the project budgetManage the risks and issues of the project and work with the teams to take corrective measurementsControl all project interdependenciesMaximize utilization of project resources across all workstreams, assisting with the selection and appointment of new project team membersManage all stakeholder communicationManage project documentation according to Graphic Packaging International policies and proceduresInteract with the technical teams to understand critical milestones, deliveries, and releasesDevelop/create the PMO organization to support the business Ideal Candidate:A bachelor's degree of science in information technology, business management, administration (or other relevant degree), with proven experience in Project Management tools and techniques8+ years of experience as a Project Manager and additional years in other functional rolesStrong and proven practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projectsGood knowledge of project and program management methodology and techniquesExperience with managing agile projectsDemonstrated experience with Microsoft ProjectExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsAbility to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in project managementStrong leadership and management skills, experience of leading, managing and developing peopleExtremely organizedFantastic presentation skillsAbility to manage the projects in agile & waterfall environmentsGood knowledge of project budgeting and resource allocation proceduresAbility to find innovative ways to resolve problemsAbility to navigate in global, large, and complex organizationStrong ability to influence without authorityTeam player – puts own success below the success of the team
