The Research Engagement Services (RES) team provides world-class service by engaging directly with clients, prospects, and vendors to coordinate requests with Gartner Research & Advisory Experts.

In the role of RES Email Support Manager, you will be responsible for the people, process, and technology required to manage and coordinate all the functional support areas within RES, with a specific focus on managing a global team of temporary workers.
What you will do.
Overall Accountability.
Manage the workload of approximately 30 temporary associates to ensure the timely processing of emails for our internal RES teams.
Hiring and Onboarding.
Partner with temp agencies to gather resumes, create job postings, review applications, schedule interviews, and make hiring decisions.
Training and Development.
Oversee the training and onboarding of temporary workers and address any escalations or feedback regarding temp worker performance.
Team Alignment.
Strategically align resources based on data analysis to ensure temp workers are effectively distributed across teams and time zones, adapting to team needs and associate absences.
Process Management.
Implement and manage processes to reduce the strain on the team, ensuring smooth transitions between incoming and outgoing temp workers.
Communication.
Maintain clear and effective communication with temp workers, RES managers, and other stakeholders to understand needs and provide necessary support.
Project Leadership.
Lead and manage ongoing projects that touch multiple functions, systems, and business units to a successful conclusion.
Operational Excellence.
Recognize potential impacts to the business before they occur and take proactive measures to ensure business continuity.
Process/Tool Expertise.
Build a clear understanding of Research and RES service tools, applications, and processes along with the ability to discuss and articulate these to other business units.
What you will need.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields from an institute of repute, MBA preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of client service and management experience, with some experience in managing temporary or contract workers preferred.
Strong experience in driving operation excellence & process management Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to problem-solve and bring timely resolution to escalations.
Process-driven, methodical, and pays strong attention to detail.
Ability to train and present information clearly and effectively.
Flexibility and adaptability to manage resources across different time zones.
Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking.
Familiarity with RES processes and tools is a plus.
