Job Summary.
The Material Coordinator – Order Management role will be responsible for ensuring our Estimated Ship Dates (ESDs) are up to date and communicated to sales offices in a timely manner.
Other activities will be tracking and pushing for the completion of dead, skipped, and repair units as well as assisting in scheduling activities.
Responsibilities.
Update / maintain unit and aftermarket ship dates Track dead, skipped, and repair units to push for timely completion Maintain standard work related to estimated ship date processes Review line production status to planned complete targets Communicate, document, escalate estimated ship date misses Assist in scheduling activities Other duties as assigned Key Competencies and Success Factors.
Problem Solving.
Uses data analysis and excellent processes to help predict problem areas, identify areas of opportunity, and update standard work Analytical.
Strong analytical skills Computer.
Mid to strong level proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, and Outlook (should have excel skills such as VLOOKUP’s and other intermediate excel knowledge) Communication.
Strong written, and oral communication skills Flexible.
this role will be dynamic and will have changing priorities and responsibilities Other Requirements.
Must have a valid SC driver’s license and acquire a PIV license for sit down/stand up lift, Yard Dog spotter truck, and golf cart.
This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
