ORDER MANAGER FOR NORTHERN, WESTERN & CENTRAL AFRICA

You will be doing this in close cooperation with the Project and Finance/Commercial Managers.
Your focus areas will be handling and monitoring the orders, since their reception until delivery and payment from customer.
In this role you will be in direct contact with the customer as well as a large variety of internal departments like project management, finance, supply chain management, insurance, tax, legal and logistics.
How You’ll Make an Impact · Clarify parts Request, quantities required (explain engineering comments to the customer.) etc.
· Dealing with abeyances, ESP provisional part numbers generated for quotation purposes only; this must be elaborated to make it customer’s friendly, including reason for abeyance, extra material required for what and translating in human language all the information that is provided by the PCC as a SAP text box.
· Revert to engineering challenging/filtering their answer as most of the times they are not Customer’s oriented answers.
· Be a great partner with customers and all internal and external project partners (certificates conformance, shipping plan, details, insurance, material acceptance process, Guarantees liberation) · Acknowledging orders to customers/ Support in debt collection.
· Responsible for monitoring milestones and adherence to budgets, initiating actions to minimize non-conformance costs.
· Close follow-up of urgent deliveries related to site outages.
· Ensure adherence to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.
.
Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS) · Ensure all paperwork is completed from all parties, PCC, finance, SCM, engineering.
· Communicate with the customer about certificates conformance, shipping plan, details, insurance.
What You Bring · 3 – 5 years Order Management experience · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Must be goal oriented, comfortable working in diverse teams, and experienced in managing multiple tasks.
· Business fluency in English and French is a plus.
