PRODUCT OWNER

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to collaborate with the Lead Technical Product Owner in shaping and executing roadmaps, ensuring smooth teamwork across departments, and overseeing critical deliverables.You will be part of the Fail Fast team, a multidisciplinary digital studio with over 80 talented individuals who continuously enhance products, services and brands through design and communication. You will have access to a growth program based on Power-Up sessions and mentoring, with co-creation spaces and the possibility of training and certifying yourself in multiple specialties. Sun, art, fun… ¡No less tempting!What will you do?Support the Lead Technical Product OwnerWork closely with the Lead Technical Product Owner to implement project priorities, schedules, and deliverables.Assist with stakeholder management to ensure alignment on objectives and provide progress updates.Act as a proxy for the Lead Technical Product Owner when needed, taking ownership of specific tasks or projects.Roadmap & PlanningHelp define, update, and communicate the roadmap for the Design System and Web Revamp projects, aligning with overall business goals.Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and developers to prioritize features and improvements.Convert business and user needs into actionable items, including detailed Jira tickets.Design System ManagementContribute to the growth and maintenance of the Design System, ensuring scalability, proper documentation, and alignment with project objectives.Work with mobile native teams to ensure the design system supports app designs and provides cross-platform consistency.Manage updates to tokens, components, patterns, and documentation within the design system.Partner with the design system team to develop and sustain web design system assets, ensuring they are high-quality and user-friendly.Design Operations (DesignOps)Help manage design tools and licenses to ensure team accessibility.Collaborate with the Lead Technical Product Owner to optimize workflows and enhance cross-team collaboration.This responsibility may decrease as a dedicated internal DesignOps role evolves.Stakeholder Communication & CollaborationSupport clear and consistent communication among designers, developers, mobile native teams, and business stakeholders.Help facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain project momentum.Keep stakeholders informed about progress, challenges, and decisions, in alignment with the Lead Technical Product Owner’s strategy.RequirementsDesign and Development Processes: In-depth knowledge of design systems and workflows, from tokens to component libraries and pattern documentation.Technical Expertise: Familiarity with front-end development concepts and tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, tokens, frameworks).Design Systems Experience: Proven background in managing or working with design systems that support both web and mobile native platforms, including component creation and pattern standardization.Project Management: Experience with roadmap creation, Jira ticket management, and milestone tracking.DesignOps Knowledge: Understanding of design operations, including tool management and workflow optimization.Collaboration Skills: Skilled in working with web and mobile native teams to achieve shared objectives.Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Languages: Advanced proficiency in both Spanish (ESP) and English (ENG) is required.Soft Skills: Highly organized, collaborative, and adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.Candidates should have between 3 and 5 years of experience in areas such as design systems, web development, project management, and workflow optimization.
