Job Title: Data & AI Project ManagerContract position6 months + likely extensionBased in Barcelona (hybrid working pattern)We are partnering with a global leader in the Pharmaceuticals sector to source an experienced Data & AI Project Management professional. We are looking for someone with strong business partnering experience and who works well with customers/ stakeholders to manage expectations.Key experienceData & Gen-AI projects experienceAnalytical Skills: The ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data relevant to the project, and to provide insights to support decision-making.Technical Expertise: An understanding of technical concepts allowing for effective communication with technical teams and stakeholders.Reporting and Documentation: Proficiency in compiling and organizing project data, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.Stakeholder Communication: Effective collaboration with project stakeholders to gather and communicate project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the project and making recommendations to the project manager.Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing project requirements and to support the programme director in addressing unexpected challenges.Skills - beyond PM, some portfolio experience is needed, we will need to build/tailor the pipeline views for Gen AI, so it needs to be someone who can do it end to end — in a visualization tool. Plus presentation skills, as I want this person to be visible at monthly sessionsRole DescriptionOwnership of the cross-enterprise Generative AI funnel in Jira, including intake forms, navigation of items though governance check points to technology provisioning, from MVP to Production. Working with business to log and unblock issues relating to the access and provisioning of Generative AI endpoints - Skillsets -> Advanced Jira, form-automation, PowerBI reporting, business partneringCoordination of the Generative AI advisory council, helping business use cases to navigate generative cross-functional governance teams (spanning privacy, security, AI governance, architecture, legal and procurement review).Weekly backlog and blocker reviews with each of the teams dedicated to the funnelling of AI use cases feeding.Cross functional reporting, KPI definitions, tracking and standardised reporting and process improvements of the cross-enterprise workflows and structuresEngagement with the Generative AI accelerator leadership, working to define continuous improvement of the workflows needed to accelerate access to enterprise grade and governance secured Generative AI technologies.Working with the AI Governance teams to ensure informational alignment between the use cases in the funnel and information logged in the AI Catalogue.Working between architecture and procurement to respond to requests to access new or unapproved Generative AI technologies, working to streamline review and workflows needed to manage and unblock these requests.
