As an international company we are looking for a Senior Project Manager who is willing to relocate to Baku- Azerbaijan. QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTIONQualifications:Proven working experience in Project Management,Advanced knowledge of Project management processes, means, and methods,Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards,Understanding of all facets of the construction process,Familiarity with construction management software packages,Ability to plan and see the “big picture”,Competent in conflict and crisis management,Leadership and human resources management skills,Excellent time and project management skills,BS degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering or related field,PMP certificate,Fluent in spoken and written English,5+ years of commercial/Utility construction experience,Solar PV experience on commercial or utility-scale projects is a plus,Prior project management experience on large-scale projects,Experience with electrical systems and wiring is desired,EPC, PPA, Interconnection, and site lease contract experience is a plus.Willing to relocate to Baku-Azerbaijan.Job Description:Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work activities through site Construction Managers and subcontractors to insure a cohesive operational unit.Highly focused, organized, analytical thinker who is used to substantial autonomy while ensuring that the customers needs a metFlexible to new ideas and new directions and can work in a dynamically changing work environment.Highly motivated to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives to meet the changing industry requirements.Pre-Construction: Coordinate with the engineering team to plan the design and installation of the product and related items and review the contract documents to ensure compliance with all required provisions.Works with the Contracts Manager to resolve contract issues and maintain contract compliance for both owner-facing and subcontractor-facing agreementsArranges directly or through subcontractors for the necessary site logistic in terms of site offices, connectivity, utility connections, etc.Work closely with Construction Manager for oversight of contractors and tradesIssues project progress reports and communicates proactively with team members.Checks the subcontractors' progress reports and validate their associated payment requestsEnforce quality control programsManage customer audits and inspectionsProvides main day-to-day customer interface and point of contactDevelop Project schedules for the execution of the work within the project milestonesSchedules the delivery of products; schedules and coordinates the installation of the products with the customer, subcontractors, and inspectorsEnsures that all ongoing project records and logs are up to date and closed at the end of the project.Provides feedback to project development and the Operations TeamCloses out the project and turns it over to Operation and Maintenance TeamOther duties as assigned.
