QA PRACTICE MANAGER (ALL GENDERS)

Job Description We are looking for a QA Practice Manager who will successfully harmonize the portfolio of Quality Assurance methods and tools at zooplus.
As  QA Practice Manager,  you will be leading an amazing international team, defining and encouraging the overall vision of the practice by being the main driver for QA practice development and standardization.
Together with your team of Staff QA Engineers, you will be defining test strategy, vision, architecture and best practices for testing microservice systems as well as SaaS and PaaS integrations.
You will also be supporting QA Engineers embedded in the development teams with expertise and best practices in various areas of front-end, backend and mobile testing.
You will support and prioritize different levels of test pyramid as well as non-functional testing.
The results of your work will ensure that product teams in zooplus are in control of the quality of their products and will provide stability in the business.
Your key responsibilities include.
Drive the research, experimentation, evaluation, decision and roll-out of QA methods and tools.
Drive the roll-out of Quality built-in culture among all product teams in zooplus.
Build and manage your team of Staff QA Engineers who will be traveling among Product Development teams.
Support your team members in their career growth as Staff QA Engineers.
Take proactive steps in managing QA-related issues.
Support QA engineers with initiatives that require the involvement of several development teams.
Ensure with Staff QA engineers in your team and with QA engineers in the product teams that software quality is transparent and measurable to all stakeholders via dashboards.
Closely cooperate with IT Management colleagues.
Participate in the recruitment of QA Software Engineers for product teams.
Provide in-depth analysis of quality-related defects.
Technologies we use.
Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin.
Amazon Web Services (S3, SNS, SQS, RDS), Terraform, AWS CLI CI/CD with Jenkins pipeline InfluxDB, Grafana, Sensu, ELK stack Mesos/Marathon, Docker, Kubernetes Webdriver, Cypress, BrowserStack, Playwright TestNG, JUnit, Kotest, Allure, Cucumber Oracle, Postgres Kibana, Grafana, Sensu Git  Qualifications Desirable educational background.
Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other STEM disciplines are preferred.
10+ years of experience, at least 3-5 leadership experience in QA domain and the rest followed by software development & quality assurance.
In-depth knowledge of QA strategies and good understanding of software development lifecycle.
Experience in testing microservice architectures and building testing frameworks specifically suited for such architectures.
Knowledge and experience with agile testing concepts.
Interest in modern testing approaches and ability to quickly grasp new concepts and verify them against company needs.
Experience of hands-on QA automation is required.
Sound understanding of e-commerce business domain.
Intercultural and open mindset with excellent people management skills.
Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
