We're seeking a dynamic Real Estate Expansion Manager to join our growing team and lead our portfolio's growth. The Opportunity: Be instrumental in expanding Akora's footprint across Madrid and into new Spanish cities, adhering to our unique neighborhood approach. This strategy places our apartments in close proximity, fostering a sense of community and maximizing guest convenience. Develop strong partnerships with property owners, transforming individual apartments and potentially full buildings into Akora's homes. Job Description: This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your acquisitions, leasing and property management expertise, and proven track record in sales & marketing to become a master of Akora's value proposition. Ideally, your experience is within the residential or hospitality sector, with a focus on the short & mid-stay accommodation market. In this commercially-focused role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing winning sales strategies to secure partnerships with not only property owners, but also leasing agents. Your success will be measured by your ability to:Develop Winning Sales Strategies:Craft compelling proposals showcasing how Akora maximizes rental income and guest satisfaction for property owners. Utilize your market knowledge to identify prime assets and leverage your network to secure the best opportunities.Lead Generation and Outreach:Proactively identify potential apartments for purchase that align with Akora's growth strategy and neighbourhood focus. Target Multiple Channels: Engage leasing agents and property owners in targeted neighbourhoods to close new long-term partnerships and secure an off-market pipeline. Tailor your approach based on the partnership:Fixed-rent agreement: Highlight guaranteed income and minimized risk.Property management partnership: Focus on our expertise in maximizing occupancy and simplifying tenant management.Deal Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate purchase, fixed-rent and property management deals with property owners, leveraging your strong communication and negotiation skills to close deals and secure profitable partnerships. Due Diligence and Reporting: Oversee due diligence for all transactions, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and generating reports to inform leadership's strategic decisions. What You'll Bring: 5+ years of experience in real estate, with a demonstrable track record of developing and implementing successful leasing, property management sales strategies, and achieving sales goals within the residential or hospitality sector, ideally in the short & mid-stay accommodation market. Your experience in closing deals and building partnerships with both property owners and leasing agents is a must.Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong analytical skills, financial modelling proficiency, and strategic real estate expertise. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build trust and close deals. Proven ability to source opportunities, manage transactions, and inspire confidence. Familiarity with Madrid's real estate market and a well-established network are a plus. Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a bonus. Thrive in a fast-paced, independent environment with a high degree of autonomy. Why Akora? Shape the Future of Flex Living at Akora: Be a leader at the forefront of the booming Flex Living industry.
