The company provides intelligent and innovative logistics solutions for manufacturing and distribution, as well as comprehensive automation and software technology solutions, tailored to its clients' needs. The company is involved in an important growth process and, for this reason, we are looking for an experienced Sales Area Manager.This is a technical and consultative business development role, where you will use your engineering technical knowledge to provide specific and tailored solutions to customers within their existing material handling systems, thus providing modernisation and upgrade opportunities.Main responsibilities:Building strong relationships with customers in order to fully understand their key requirements and needs. Using industry knowledge and networking to develop new leads and prospects within the logistics market. Developing and maintaining effective on-going relationships with key customer base. Working with the team to analyse customer data and develop models to suit its needs.Leading the tender submission process, ensuring the engagement of all the key stakeholders.Ensuring a smooth and complete hand over of contracts and orders.Skills and Knowledge Required: At least 8/10 years of experience in commercial roles within the integrated logistics and material handling/automation industry. Degree qualified in an engineering or scientific discipline is preferred. Well-developed and proven solution sales ability and key account management skills Strong understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines. Ability to build trusting and credible relationships with customers. Ability to work independently with great responsibility Location: Madrid Type of position: Permanent full-time position
