Mission.
Your key goals involve establishing and growing the company’s presence in the French market.
Responsibilities.
· Market Entry Strategy.
Define and implement a market entry strategy tailored to the local landscape, taking into account an in-depth analysis of the current competition (strengths and weaknesses), a market research (to prioritize clients / targets) and customer / cultural preferences in France (and also ensuring compliance with local regulations and company quality standards).
Research on trends, competition and existing entry barriers in the French target markets making sure the company is ready to start operating in the local market.
· Sales Development & Marketing.
Build and expand the sales strategic plan and pipeline through the go-to-market strategy and client meetings, establishing relationships with clients and key accounts, and identifying opportunities in the local market.
Leads generation and follow-up.
Proactively contact and schedule meetings with target museums and venues, maintaining a pipeline of qualified, active opportunities and manage them to close.
Focus on understanding the French consumer and business behaviors to drive revenue.
· Customer Relations.
Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring product satisfaction and retention, understanding local customer needs and address them effectively.
Active participation in commercial meetings (delivering presentations, demos and proposal pitches to potential clients), as well as in promotional events (fairs, workshops, etc.).
· Reporting.
Report regularly to the board on local performance, sales progress, market dynamics and results, monitoring and coordinating local operations to ensure that the company's objectives are met as the business plan evolves.
Participate in strategic decision making at global level by coordinating headquarters’ activities related with France business (e.
.
development, design, etc.).
· Marketing, Brand Awareness & Communication.
Represent the company at relevant events, conferences, networking events and meetings, establishing relationships with suppliers, partner or other key stakeholders in the country (such as associations, institutions related to Culture, Leisure and Tourism, etc).
Establish partnerships with local businesses, distributors, or other stakeholders within the industry to create a presence and a strong reputation.
Develop brand visibility (this can involve working on marketing campaigns, PR activities, and ensuring product-market fit for the French audience).
· Team Development.
Once the initial business goals are met (for the first years) and supported by the head office teams, the Country Manager will be also in charge, in the mid-term, of the definition, management and supervision of the local team, including recruitment, training and development of staff, as the business plan evolves while adapting to the nuances of the French labor market.
Requirements.
· We are looking for a high-potential, solid, sales-oriented, tech-savvy Country Manager with at least 3-5 years of experience in cultural / touristic environments.
Exhibitions, Museums, Monuments, Castles, Shows, Sports, Leisure, Wineries, Touristic Transportation, Zoos… · Used to consultative selling with long sales cycles (including tender, public procurement processes or private bids).
· It´s a must to provide with knowledge of Ticketing services or platforms (ideally coming from Ticketing software or solution providers, Online Travel Agencies or even professionals coming from cultural / leisure venues, but related to the Ticketing area).
· We are looking for a relational Country Lead, someone well-considered in these environments with an excellent network (C-Level / Decision Makers) in cultural venues etc and able to build long-term, trusted partnerships / relationships.
· An ambitious, results-oriented, resilient, pragmatic and proactive professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact and build a market almost from scratch.
