MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Data Collection & Analysis.
Surveys, experiments, fieldwork, or interviews for data collection.
Statistical software like SPSS, R, Python, or STATA for data analysis.
Qualitative analysis tools like NVivo or ATLAS.
i Draft reports, papers, and summaries of findings.
An RA may be responsible for helping to write sections of research papers or grant proposals.
Presenting data and research findings to research teams or other stakeholders.
Follow protocols precisely, record data accurately, and identify inconsistencies or issues in data collection.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE Educational Background and Knowledge.
Degree in Biomedical sciences.
Relevant coursework.
strong academic background Subject-Specific Knowledge.
Familiarity with key theories, methodologies, and concepts related to the research project is crucial.
Technical Skills.
Knowledge of tools for gathering and analysing data.
Lab Skills.
Hands-on experience with lab equipment, conducting experiments, and recording data.
Computer skills.
Proficiency in office software (e.
., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and more specialized tools, depending on the research area.
Professional background in clinical settings Experience in fundraising would be an asset.
Interpersonal skills and experience in presenting; Time management Ethical Awareness and compliance Problem solving.
Project management and coordination experience.
