They are looking for a talented Technical Designer to join their team remotely.
As a Technical Designer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring that gameplay systems, tools, and features are smoothly integrated.
Key Responsibilities.
Develop and maintain gameplay systems using visual and text-based scripting languages such as Blueprint, Lua, and Python.
Create and refine design tools to enhance workflows and build prototypes to test new gameplay elements.
Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize game performance, focusing on memory management and frame rate enhancement using UE5’s profiling tools.
Collaborate closely with designers, programmers, and artists to implement game mechanics and technology.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to team members.
Your Skills and Experience.
Expertise in both visual and text-based scripting languages (Blueprint, Lua, Python).
Deep understanding of Unreal Engine workflows, especially UE5’s Control Rig, Sequencer, animation systems, Niagara VFX, Nanite, Lumen, materials, and shaders.
Experience in optimizing game performance and resolving bottlenecks using UE5's profiling tools.
Strong understanding of game and level design principles.
Previous experience in game development or game-adjacent projects.
Desirable.
Proficiency in C++ and a good understanding of network replication.
Experience with game jams or similar creative and technical challenges.
