We are seeking a Technology Manager to join our Technology Team, driving cutting-edge solutions for our data centres. This role is ideal for individuals who have advanced from technical roles into leadership positions and possess deep domain expertise in HVAC systems across diverse climates, BMS (Building Management Systems), controls, and system interfaces. If you have experience in data centre development, design, engineering, commissioning, or operations, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape technology strategies that will define the future of our data centres.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and manage technology strategies, focusing on plant and equipment systems development, TCO life-cycle analysis, and sustainability standards.Provide expert technical guidance to teams, promoting continuous learning and knowledge-sharing across the organization.Oversee the evaluation and integration of new technologies to improve data centre speed-to-market, performance, and energy efficiency.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in design, sustainability, testing, and commissioning to ensure smooth deployment and integration of new systems.Ensure that all plant and equipment selections comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Stay ahead of industry advancements, identifying opportunities for innovation in data centre technologies.Build and maintain strategic relationships with leading technology suppliers.Prepare and present comprehensive reports on technology investigations, including benefits, challenges, and recommendations.QUALIFICATIONBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (equivalent technical qualifications with substantial work experience will also be considered).Above 10 years of experience in mission-critical data centre development, engineering, or operations with a track record of progressing into senior-level leadership roles.In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS, and other relevant technologies used in data centres.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills.Certifications in data centre management or technology-related fields are a plus.A commitment to sustainability and experience with energy-efficient technologies in data centre environments.Why Join Us?At GDS International, we are dedicated to fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
