ASSOCIATE/SENIOR ASSOCIATE - CREDIT- ASSET MANAGER

They are dedicated to delivering exceptional financial solutions through innovative and strategic approaches.Role Overview:We are seeking a motivated Credit Lending Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial analysis within the banking or insurance sectors, with experience in credit instruments, including Investment Grade (IG) and High Yield (HY) securities. International experience is highly advantageous.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive credit analyses of potential investment opportunities.Monitor and assess the creditworthiness of existing portfolio investments.Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement credit investment strategies.Prepare detailed credit reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting credit markets.Analyze High Yield and Leveraged Loan deals, including conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and presenting findings to the investment committee.Monitor ongoing investments and interact with buy-side and sell-side stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.Approximately 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis within banking or insurance sectors.Experience with credit instruments, including IG and HY securities.International experience is highly advantageous.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Additional Responsibilities:Exhibit strong communication skills in both internal and external environments, including interactions with companies and clients.Be a team player with the ability to work with colleagues from different functions and business units in a culturally diverse environment.Analyze financial information to provide both quantitative and qualitative assessments.Adopt innovative thinking and demonstrate the ability to work with investment opportunities in new sectors or jurisdictions.Proactively engage in continuous learning by reading widely (e.g., Financial Times, business publications) and considering companies, industries, and products as part of daily life to suggest potential investment ideas.Work effectively in a team environment with an emphasis on frequent and informal communication.Compensation:Competitive salary with a performance-based bonus structure ranging from 50% to 150%, depending on individual and company performance.Additional Information:The role focuses on both High Yield (HY) bonds and Leveraged Loans (LL), with no direct lending involved.The firm manages €2 billion in liquid assets under management (AUM) as of today, with a 50/50 split between HY and LL. They have broad mandates allowing investment across capital stacks, avoiding distressed assets but engaging in stressed names.
