Role The Channel Account Manager’s goal is to maintain positive working relationships with partners according to ASUS HQ guidelines and the company strategy. The Channel Account Manager acts as a liaison between partner companies and ASUS. Account Manager’s will support the Account Team Leader Manager in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Product Manager and Marketing Team to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The Channel Account Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the partners accounts assigned, will adopt the role of an ASUS ambassador to the partner, maintain the relationship and offering any kind of support needed.Assist in setting up new items at partner via the partner’s guidelines.Work with marketing team to create marketing solutions to support partners and closely monitor marketing timelines set by partners.Maintain good attendance and punctuality.Perform other job duties as needed.Research and identify new partners and generate interest in ASUS Products.Optimization through weekly appointment, market analysis, training and any other type of supporting actions.Logistics, orders, release products for partners accounts assigned to our Central in EU.Stock control, aging, competitors’ feedback (market trends)Help the Product Manager in definition of the product strategy and roadmap.Assesses the Product Manager informing about market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product forecasts, special reports and analyses.Providing suggestions on product pricing from utilizing market research data to CPM in European HQ to make decision upon; reviewing cost reports; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.Support Product Manager in monitoring product inventory.ExpectationsSet the example by actively contributing to department and company goalsTake initiative and seek additional training or direction as needed.Build quality into work. Ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives.Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of processes.Qualifications and Education RequirementsQualificationsCompetencieso Ability to multi-task and manage workflow priorities and attention to details.o Fluency to speak in front of large groups or senior management.o Strong communication skills via email, phone, and face to face within ASUS and external partners.o Channel management and negotiation skills,Strategic thinking and planningAttributeso Focused on taking initiative to solve problems and create positive results.o Work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment.o Good logic thinking and decision making are highly appreciated.o Confident, optimistic and responsible.Knowledge o High level of Microsoft Office products especially Excel worksheet.o Strong computer skills.o Knowledge about commercial IT sector in Spain and its customers.o Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.o Consumer electronic products enthusiast.Experience:o Minimum experience of 3 years in Consumer Electronic industry experience preferably with related experiences in a job position with similar function. o Experience in working with Componentes, Networking is a plus.Education- High School diploma or equivalent.
