COMMERCIAL MANAGER

In this position, you will be responsible for the growth and development of the company within Spain. The ideal candidate is a strategic and commercial visionary with a track record of successfully managing a fast-growing (international) organization. You will have the unique opportunity to develop the company to the next level within a leadership role. You are an entrepreneurial and sales-driven leader, with a track record of successfully growing and accelerating business within Spain. You are setting up the short and long-term strategy for your team in Spain but are also active in the field and frontline yourself to build upon the business by using your current network (preferably in the construction, renewable energy, or waste management sectors).The companyOur client offers mobile camera systems that are deployed to easily and optimally observe construction sites, waste sites and remote areas. With these systems, they are pioneers in the European market. They have their own monitoring center. In this certified alarm center all reports from the connected systems are analyzed and processed. The systems are designed, assembled, and maintained by the head quarter abroad. They also have offices in Denmark, Germany, Austria, France and Italy.Responsibilities:Lead and manage your team of sales managers (nine pax. in three Spanish cities) and marketeer ensuring their motivation and development.Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.Budget planning and cost center responsibility.Develop and implement mid-term sales highlights and be responsible for their execution.Act as a persuasive sparring partner for the European headquarters in conjunction with national management.You will report to the Managing Director International based in the Netherlands.Qualifications:Several years of professional experience in sales with proven success.Experience in leading a team.Industry experience in the construction, renewable energy, or waste management sectors is preferred.As a communication-strong and motivating manager, you thrive in growth and change processes and structural transformation.Negotiation skills up to contract conclusion.Fluent in English and Spanish.Based in Madrid
