We are gearing up for rapid expansion across European markets. Job Description:The EM will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This role is responsible for overseeing the engineering department, managing our software development processes, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a strong technical background in software development and a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Definition and Management: Define and manage engineering processes, particularly adopting and refining agile methodologies, to enhance agility and efficiency in product development. Collaborate closely with the Product team to ensure seamless integration of development workflows and alignment of product vision with technical execution.Oversee the development lifecycle of our products from concept to deployment, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.Implement best practices in software development and project management methodologies.Work closely with the product management team to ensure alignment between engineering output and customer needs.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.Strong technical background in software development and architecture.Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and with executive leadership.Experience in strategic planning and execution of technology strategies.Familiarity with current data security and privacy regulations.Reasons to apply:Change the future of TV!
