Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll oversee financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring financial integrity and supporting sustainable growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who is passionate about sustainability and looking to make an impact in an environmentally-conscious industry.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & AnalysisDevelop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals and sustainability initiatives.Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying variances and advising on corrective actions.Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decisions and sustainable growth.Financial ReportingPrepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and IFRS.Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.Present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.Cost Management & EfficiencyCollaborate with production teams to monitor and control manufacturing costs.Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining eco-friendly practices and high-quality standards.Support product costing, pricing, and margin analysis to optimize profitability.Cash Flow & Risk ManagementManage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support day-to-day operations.Conduct risk assessments and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.Oversee relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.Sustainable Finance InitiativesLead efforts to secure sustainable finance opportunities, such as green bonds or other environmentally-friendly funding.Track and report on financial metrics related to sustainability, including carbon footprint costs and energy efficiency savings.Team LeadershipSupervise and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve the company’s financial and sustainability goals.For more information, please Apply ASAP!Edward Mann Inc. acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
