In 2022, it reported €9 billion in revenue and employs 40,000 people.The company is undergoing transformation and has entered a new phase of development.A new strategic plan for 2027 was presented in September 2022, focusing on several key areas:A refocus on its two core business activities (Water/Waste) and key markets, including recent external growth operations.The development of innovative solutions supported by an ambitious investment plan (€850 million invested over 5 years, a 50% increase).International expansion (target: 40% of revenue by 2027).Identifying "digital" as a strategic differentiator.Recruitment ContextTo support the role of Digital in this new strategic project, a new entity was created in 2023 to consolidate all digital solutions. This entity (600 people) reports directly to the leadership.Currently, the company is a global leader in digital solutions for water management (revenue > €150 million), with an international presence and over 15 years of experience in the field. In the Waste sector, the group’s offering is less developed, but the potential is significant.In an increasingly competitive context, this entity has strong ambitions: to establish the group’s global leadership in the water sector and accelerate growth in the waste sector, aiming to double digital activity revenue by 2027.Digital SolutionsThis area is organized around three solution lines responsible for product development and an operations division tasked with deploying and managing client projects in various regions:Smart Metering & Smart Cities (> 6 million connected meters deployed worldwide).Water Operations & Assets Solutions (software solutions for comprehensive water cycle management, > 1500 platforms deployed).Waste Solutions & Customer Portals (digital solutions to optimize waste management).The operations division consists of a central team based primarily in France and departments located in strategic countries. In locations where only the digital entity is present, the operations department is composed of specialized salespeople, back-office teams, and project teams.Missions and ResponsibilitiesAs an International Bid Manager, you will take the lead in shaping and delivering tender responses on a global scale while managing the full lifecycle of strategic commercial projects. This role will allow you to work closely with diverse teams and partners to ensure successful outcomes.Responsibilities:1-Strengthening Commercial TeamsSort through and prioritize business opportunities in alignment with strategic goals.Look into risks, pricing strategies, and business models to build competitive proposals.Hand over successfully won projects to execution teams, ensuring seamless transitions.2-Structuring Bid ResponsesSet up tools and processes to streamline proposal preparation.Pull together responses in regions without local entities by coordinating with internal teams and external partners.Lay out and validate each stage of the bidding process to ensure consistency and compliance.3-Reporting ActivitiesKeep track of commercial opportunities through Salesforce.Put together monthly reports to provide visibility on activities and outcomes.Qualifications and Skills:A degree in Business Administration or a related field, with strong financial acumen and a knack for technical matters.Outstanding communication skills in English (70% of activities are conducted in English); knowledge of French is a plus.Demonstrated expertise in structuring bids and proficiency in economic estimation tools.Familiarity with international markets, standards, and best practices in bid management.Ability to work across multicultural and multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative environment.A proactive mindset with strategic vision and meticulous attention to detail.Capacity to take on high workloads and deliver under tight deadlines.What we offer:Type of contract: PermanentWorkplace: Alicante officeConditions: HybridAvailability to travelStart date: As soon as possible
