LICENSING MANAGER - DEPORTES

We are currently seeking a Licensing Manager to lead our Licensing Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the licensing activities of the company, ensuring that all licensed products are in line with the brand's image and meet consumer demand. You will also be responsible for leading a team of licensing professionals, providing direction, leadership and support to ensure the department's success against KPI’s and contractual obligations.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of licensing and merchandising strategies, as well as a proven track record of delivery on successful global listening programs for a global sporting or entertainment brand. They must demonstrate their ability to work closely with global licensees and agents and be able to negotiate and secure new and renewals for licensing deals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSStrategyDevelop and execute a clear and commercially sustainable global licensing strategy, in line with the brand's image and consumer demand.Identify potential licensing partners and negotiate and secure licensing deals that align with the company's objectives.Monitor and analyze market trends and consumer demand to ensure that the company's licensing and merchandising strategies remain relevant and competitive.Operational ExcellenceSystem and sign off process.Contracts.Lead and manage the Licensing team, ensuring that all team members are meeting their personal performance targets and achieving departmental objectives.Licensee RelationshipsWork closely with licensees and agents to ensure that all licensed products meet quality standards and are in line with the brand's image.Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing licensees, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.KPI’s and Contractual ObligationsDevelop and manage the licensing budget, ensuring that all activities are within budget constraints.Win new business and licensees.Marketing and BrandEnsure that all licensed products are properly marketed and promoted to maximize sales.Licensee Shows.Brand ProtectionDevelop and implement anti-counterfeiting measures to protect the brand's intellectual property.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in licensing and merchandising, preferably in the consumer goods industry.Experience leading and managing teams.Deep understanding of licensing and merchandising strategies and trends.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
