If you’re excited about working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is your chance to make an impact.Your RoleAs an Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations. From managing stock lists to resolving logistical challenges, your proactive approach and attention to detail will keep our container logistics running seamlessly.This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are ready to take ownership of their responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Logistics: Oversee and track containers being bought, sold, and leased, ensuring accuracy in dates, container numbers, quantities, and pricing.Problem Solving: Anticipate and troubleshoot logistical challenges, providing quick, effective solutions to minimize disruptions.Control Stock: Maintain and update daily stock lists, ensuring precision and up-to-date information across multiple locations.Point of Contact: Act as the go-to person for container arrival and pickup schedules, responding swiftly to internal and external inquiries.Global Collaboration: Coordinate with the China Operations team to provide 24/7 support and ensure continuity of service.Documentation: Prepare container release forms and operational paperwork as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.What We’re Looking ForExperience1-5 years in operations or stock management, preferably in shipping or logistics.Industry connections are a strong plus.SkillsExceptional problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think on your feet.Fast and detail-oriented, with the capacity to handle high-pressure situations effectively.Strong communication skills, with fluent English essential; additional languages are a bonus.Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, and experience with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive) is a plus.TraitsOwnership Mindset: You take full responsibility for your tasks and see them through to completion.Proactive & Reliable: You excel in anticipating issues and delivering solutions promptly.Team Player: You’re ready to support the team wherever needed.What We OfferCompetitive Compensation: A competitive base salary with an above-market commission structure.Growth Opportunities: Join us at an exciting stage of growth, with significant career development prospects.Perks: Business trips, team-building activities, and a vibrant office in central Barcelona with a stunning view.
