Sourcing Job Description.
Role & Responsibilities.
Develop and execute the Sourcing Category Strategy for the areas of packaging within the scope of the job.
Manage supplier relationships and supplier by maintaining supplier scorecards, site visits (when applicable), day-to-day interactions and regular review meetings.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify potential savings opportunities.
Develop and stay current on market intelligence for assigned categories of spend Accountable to meet Sourcing goals for assigned categories, such as cost savings, quality, payment terms, compliance to requirements and risk plans.
Employ the appropriate use of risk management tools Define sustainability focus and success criteria for assigned categories of spend, working both with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify actions leading to improve the company's environmental and social impacts.
Key Ingredients.
Bachelor's Degree in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field +10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance and/or Operations in Manufacturing Environment preferrably.
English and Spanish fluency is required.
Other languages will be considered as a plus Strategic Being able to Lead change and influence Leadership skills.
