TEAM LEADER, SAM

Your day to day.
As the Software Asset Management (SAM) Team Lead, you will be accountable for managing and coordinating the SAM team.
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will demonstrate leadership and coordination skills while maintaining a sense of urgency.
You will also be responsible for driving and resolving issues in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
Your main responsibility is to manage requests for software assets and PC rights, ensuring that Vodafone colleagues have the necessary tools to perform their day-to-day activities.

Leadership.
Ability to manage and coordinate teams effectively, ensuring performance and compliance.
Process Management.
Strong in building, maintaining, and optimizing Software Asset Management (SAM) processes.
Risk Management.
Expertise in identifying, mitigating, and managing software license risks, including compliance issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Skilled at working with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Strategic Thinking.
Ability to analyze trends, recommend improvements, and develop long-term strategies for software asset management.

ITAM Tool Proficiency.
Hands-on experience with SNOW, Spider, and other SAM tools for managing software assets.
Software License Management.
Knowledge of software licensing models, including virtualized environments and cloud services.
Data Analysis.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate software usage, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
Vendor Management.
Experience with managing software vendor contracts, audits, and compliance issues.
Communication.
