About this role.
As the Vice President, Team Manager (VP, TM), you will lead a team of analysts within Gartner’s CIO Research - Midsize Enterprises practice to deliver must-have research and compelling interactions for Gartner’s clients.
This VP, Team Manager oversees a team of MSE CIO analysts while working closely with MSE peer and practitioner researchers.
The MSE expert team supports a role-based product targeting CIOs and IT Leaders at organizations with less than $1B USD in revenue.
Your ability to identify opportunities, prioritize critical business needs, set team objectives, drive retention through content, and align value will impact and drive Gartner’s continued growth.
What you’ll do.
Lead a team of analysts.
Responsible for coaching and providing feedback, professional and career development, and recruitment, as necessary.
Produce frame-breaking content by generating high volumes of bold and creative hypotheses, accurately recognizing patterns, correctly undertaking analysis, and challenging conventional wisdom.
Develop new ideas and shape content to solve client challenges and drive retention.
Manage content creation and/or inquiry capacity and coach the team to adopt a consultative approach for client interactions and stakeholder influence to impact Gartner’s long-term growth strategy Foster an inclusive and engaging environment and drive Gartner’s commitment to DE&I throughout all aspects of the business.

What you’ll need.
15+ years of experience working in a research or advisory related role Experience managing, developing, and growing a high-performing team Ability to time manage and meet deadlines by prioritizing demands and coordinating multiple engagements.
Diagnose and root cause performance to maximize team outcomes Demonstrated ability to translate qualitative and quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies Proven communications skills, and a superior ability to frame insight in written and visual presentation Experience in gathering input from and communicating ideas to clients and key stakeholders across businesses Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred Who you are.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is USD - USD.
Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
